Hampshire Fire & Medical Services have over 10 years experience in providing Fire and Medical cover for the Television and Film Industry. Our team members have worked on Television programmes such as BBC's Top Gear, ITV's Ant and Dec's Red or Black Gameshow. Team members have appeared as

'in-shot' Firefighters on ITV's hit drama London's Burning.

 

HFMS team members have experience in supporting Film production in period settings such as The Young Victoria and Rush, which present different challenges, from covering a set using multiple candles in actual heritage buildings to classic race cars which have a higher risk of combustion due to their age. HFMS are pleased to offer special effects assistance such as wet-downs and rain simulation.  

 

We can support you from initial fire safety, medical needs and environmental protection assessments up to the provision of an appropriate level of Emergency Response Capabilities bespoke to your specific requirements.

In addition to our highly qualified Emergency Responders, we have a range of vehicle capabilities from Rapid Initial Response Vehicles up to Full Capability Firefighting and Pre-hospital Medical Response Vehicles, catering for small productions up to major films.

Using our qualified personnel, we are able to provide 'in-shot' Fire crews and Fire appliances through all periods of history ranging from the 1800's to the present day, giving producers competent personnel in accurate period uniform for a realistic portrayal of any given time period.
